El Paso County Emergency Services District #2 is committed to providing information concerning the use of taxpayer funding in an open and transparent manner. The information provided below is done so that the public can be more informed through access to financial information concerning the District. This information is provided in accordance with the local government transparency standards encouraged by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.
The data summary below is information from the 2019-2020 Budget. The per capita figures are based on the El Paso County ESD #2's estimated population of 130,000. El Paso County ESD #2 has 28 full-time equivalent positions in the most recently completed fiscal year.

The ESD #2 has no bond debt, however, buildings/land, vehicles, and large equipment are obtained through lease purchase.

The rates of taxation for El Paso County ESD#2 are currently: Ad Valorem (Property) Tax = 0.10 cents per hundred dollars of valuation
Sales Tax = 1/2 cent per dollar
